Parkinson's International Foundation, Inc

Who We Are

Our Mission

Based in the Heart of the Bluegrass, Parkinson's International is a tax exempt, nonprofit organization ran by volunteers dedicated to creating awareness through research, education and advocacy for those living with Parkinson's Disease.

Parkinson's Disease is a chronic illness that is proven to be manageable with proper nutrition, exercise and education to help ensure a long lifetime.

What We Do

Our largest benefit, Ponies for Parkinson's, is in April during Parkinson's Awareness Month. This happens to be during the spring meet at Keeneland-- a perfect time to blend Kentucky heritage and tradition along with Parkinson's Disease. We are thrilled to collaborate with other foundations to help raise awareness of Parkinson's Disease all around Kentucky throughout the year. Be sure to check the 'events' page for details!

Get Involved

Parkinson's International helps people who are  living with Parkinson’s Disease and we depend on the generosity of donors like you. Since June 2015, we have proudly served with more than 650 members online, throughout the world, providing help, hope and confidence in a cure.

In the spring of 2017, we decided to host awareness events in our local communities in an effort to provide fun and lifelong learning. If you’d like to lend a helping hand, please join our cause and donate today.
